Fat Lady Poem by George Hunter

Fat Lady

Rating: 0.5

There was a fat lady from Rigga
Who wouldn’t take care of her figga.
She sure was a fright,
As she gorged day and night.
And her ass got bigga and bigga.

Her appetite she couldn’t douse,
As she drank all the booze like a souse.
We went round and round,
But she wouldn’t slow down.
She ate everything but the house.

They hauled her away in the fall,
As her eating we just couldn’t stall.
Were you aware
That to get down the stair
They had to take out the wall?

She’s gone now, by God’s early grace,
And now there’s a lot more space.
It’s a fact that her bun,
Would block out the sun.
But we’ll miss her jolly fat face
