Father Poem by lyle hertenstein

Father

You act like you care
Yet you have never been there
You don't realize what you do to me
When you call me thoes names
And push me aside

Punching me, pushing me
Locking me out
Hitting me, kicking me
Saying your gonna knock me out

You think your Mr. Hardcore
Because your bigger than me
Your nothing anymore

You where always moms trouble child
You need to grow up
Be a man
Grow some balls
Doubt you can

The stuff you did was never funny
Go get a job and make some money
Your my father, support me

Despite all the messed up stuff you have done
Ive grown up, be proud of your son
Im only 16 and achieved far more than you ever will
Remember my name
You'll learn well
