Feel It Now? Poem by David Thomas

life like a waterfall
started with a raindrop
pourin from the sky
with no feelings but cry,
built up a river
started to run
as the day became dark
we looked past the bark,
of the darkest trees
with the greenest moss
and saw how the earth
became richer and worth,
every diamond that shone
through in the mighty sky
knowing deep down inside
we had never hidden our pride,
love became clear
so did distrust and misuse
but the happy shone through
lighting up the tunnel we knew,
it was only a matter of time
before all of our sacrifice
the world would know
even if it is never shown.
