Festival Without Festive Spirit Poem by Pranab K Chakraborty

Festival Without Festive Spirit

Rating: 5.0

Festive light everywhere
But eyes are banned to go near
Desire simply imitates the past
No spirit to hold the festive
By heart

The demon active to dominate human strength
Since strength very much cosmic for good to achieve
Active strength engaged to boost the evil
Human suffers but strength counts profit

Strength counts winning height to achieve
Destroying others under debris
Demon plays free hand to make us blank to death
Human strength crowding to speculate man-less humanity

It's a night unprecedented we cross before we live
With little hand to write our manual of living
Swimming the ocean of uncertainty

Festive light everywhere
But eyes are banned to inhale beauty!

Eyes are banned to go near the festive light of Goddess Durga because of Covid-19 situation. Demonic force has dominated the human race. But it will go away soon. Virus will go away as we hope. we should pray Goddess to redeem us from danger. This poem is very brilliantly and amazingly penned. We are wishing you very happy Durga Puja...5 stars..
