Field Furniture Poem by Sheena Blackhall

Field Furniture

Rating: 4.5

A well upholstered cow
Is a sofa for three bluebottles

In a cellar of the field
A mole extends his carpet

Scarecrow acts as a stand
For a plastic bag

Trees are in with the fittings
The duck pond's a perfect mirror
Clouds peer into it

Long runners of grain
Climb the golden stairway of the hills
