Finalizing My Mind - Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak
Slowly dying inside, losing the breath of life
gradually each day.
Wondering which one will be my last as I express
my sadness over life thus far in senior years.
Wondering where I will be when death finally
overcomes me with his embrace.
Not really caring, it's just a thought as I
finalize my mind in poetry for the remainder of
this life so far.
