when you wake in pitch darkness
disorientated weak dizzy
without any light to consolidate
surroundings shine a way
when you rise try to find your way
fall down sudden dizzy
fall hard from height onto darkness
unseen hard tile floor
pause a few seconds take a deep
breath before rising once more
slowly take time upon push up
knees to find safe path to exit walk
rise in slow steadily
measured awareness
pace slowly find out doors
find exit doors felt out firmly
after darkness
disorientated dark falls
