Find Me Poem by Troy Clark

Find Me

I have my sight on distant treasure

always I wondered what was beyond all these trees

they are suffocating me

I want to explore this world before I go

towards those lighted, spiraling stairs

To hold another planets surface in my hand

to find a diamond to call my own

I can't wait to see the buildings

and hear the memories fom places I don't know

I want to learn what it's like to climb the moutains

to feel a whisp of cloud against my hand

I yearn to skip between the cobblestones of a city long destroyed

and breath in the hustle of a cities life

I want to see all 33 major deserts in the moonlight

to be the one to discover ruins unknown

to allow this adventerous spirit to roam

the world not known to his feet but home
