Fire-Dark

Let me see,
Let me see fire-dark,
I love firefly
But I care not
Fire-eater, my dear.
Open not fire
While I am going
Through fire and water.
I am not here to
Fire up anybody
I am just firing away
To see fire in smoke.
It is true
I am fire-proof.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

Conscience is instinct bred in the house,
Feeling and Thinking propagate the sin
By an unnatural breeding in and in.
I say, Turn it out doors,
Into the moors.
