First Love Poem by Sue Lawrence

First Love

Rating: 0.5

You never forget your first love.
You remember your first kiss, your first hug,
The Christmas parties,
And the love.

I remember when we first met.
It was a fall night and you gave me your jacket cause I was cold,
That's when we shared our first kiss,
Then my parents came home.

I remember the motorcycle rides.
I remember the billards games, the hot tub and the dance.
Our dreams went beyond the skies.

When I see your picture, tears run down my face,
Cause I remember what once was.
Deep down inside I know you are my soul mate.
