Flawed Poem by Delilah Love

Flawed

My ladies and my gents!
Please, step right up!
I've got a real treat for you today!

A real beauty, a gem!
(And quite a steal, too.)
An authentic, handmade little glass doll,
the jewel of my collection,
and only three quarter-price, just for you!

So who'll have her?
See how pretty she sits up
on her little wooden stool?
Who wants to take this lovely home?

You sir? How about it?
A gift for the lady?
A new playmate for little Miss?
Three quarter-price, what say you?

What are those on her arms and legs?

Her what...? Oh, those?
No worry, no worry!
Just a few scratches is all.
Cat got a little frisky with her, I expect.
Nothing a little paint can't cover up!
Tell you what,
Buy her and I'll do the painting myself,
free of charge!
What do you say?
No? Well, your loss, sir,
Your loss...

Madam!
You look like a woman
of great taste!
She's a real beauty, isn't she?
A gem!
Three quarter-Price!
No, half-price! Just for you!
What do you say?

Why does she look so...filthy?

Filthy? Oh, you mean-
No worry, no worry!
Just a few finger prints here and there,
A few smudges of the hand, is all.
Just been passed around a bit, I expect.
Nothing a little polish can't take care of!
Tell you what,
Buy her and I'll do the polishing myself,
free of charge!
What do you say?
No? Well, your loss, madam,
Your loss...

Young lad! Yes, you there!
You've got a little sister, haven't you?
Strong lad like you,
and with a birthday coming up?
That's right.
Well, feast your eyes on this lovely here.
Jewel of my collection, she is.
Very nice, very nice.
Half-price.
No, quarter-price, just for you.
How about it?

What's wrong with her face?

Her face? Oh, her face!
No worry, no worry!
She's just not smiling, is all!
Got a lovely smile, this one.
Smile for the nice lad, darling.
There it is! Isn't she lovely.
What do you say?
No? Well, your loss, lad,
Your loss...

Miss! I know a collector when
I see one!
How would you like to add her to your collection?
Quarter-price.
No, eighth-price, just for you.
Yes?

But she's sprung a leak! Look, in her eyes! And she's starting to crack!

She's what? Oh!
No worry, no worry!
That's only-

How about her, over there? She's quite lovely.

What?
Oh...
Er...
Yes...well...
Yes, come, come, then!
She is a lovely one, isn't she?
A real beauty! A gem, no less!
Tell you what,
Buy her and I'll throw that one in,
free of charge!
What do you say?
No?
Well...
Well, thank you kindly for your business, Miss.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Wow! What a good point made in this poem! You have an interestingly unique style compared to some of the other poems I've read on this website.
