Food For The Taste Poem by M. Asim Nehal

Food For The Taste

Rating: 5.0

We use the tongue
To push the food down the throat
With the aid of teeth

The insult remains
Hanging on the shame bloating ego
For the undigested food

The bitter pills are taken
For the better of the health to pull the cart
With the aid of water

Thanks to the soul
To remain untouched and pure
Keeping the body away
