Fool From The Heart Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Fool From The Heart

I am now reaching towards fort eight
Pretty old lady now
Yet look at my fate
I am still a kid at any rate.
Every now and then make mistakes
You may call a blunder or errors
No wonder my world shakes
Under my feet, yet I am a fool by nature.
I love to reach out to people for friendship
In fact make friends very easily and here in lies the trap
I am caught as an emotional fool
Who never learn t in school?
How to be a manipulator
I could not reach miles afar
Only slog around the path strewn with thorns
I love to love others children as my own child
Why?
As I am a spinster yet with a loving heart of a mother
The world is however practical dear reader
One needs to undergo labor pain in order to be a mother in this modern society
Or else one is all alone in the modern city.
I the fool never realized
My dreams too shattered not materialized.

Hi Rimni, A very serious poem, where the poet looks inward in her heart, delves into her past. She takes stock of her life. Your own words: I am still a kid at any rate. The childishness, bachapah remains with everybody. The degree varies with each. Very thoroughly expressed the feelings of the heart. Leaves a in the heart of the reader. Nicely done.
