Footsteps In The Snow Poem by Waver Sullivan

Footsteps In The Snow

Love is like a flurry of snow,
It fades like a warm glow,
Leaving you cold and alone,
Making you think -
What it was like when she was at home.

Now you are waiting for the next flurry.
Will it be a permanent glow,
Not like that snow or that woman you let go.

Fluffy, oh so bright,
Beauty carved with delight.
How often I watch you glow.
Making dreams come through wherever you go.

Although passion combines together with attraction,
There could be times that we may fail.
Broken heart always played the past smile,
When drifted back in memory.

Maybe today will bring glory,
Not like that flurry that fades like footsteps in the snow.
Love can be available, unpredictable, adorable,
Not fallible.
It can only be enjoyable, with pleasure.
