If you really knew me
Would you really care
Would you understand I’m hurting
Because you’re never there

Would you be ashamed of me
For drugs I have turned to
Would you cast me away
Because I lied to you

Would you think I’m stupid
For drawing a blade down my arm
Would you try to understand why
I would do myself harm

Would you tell me it’s ok
If I began to cry
Would you tell me it’s not worth it
If I said I wished to die

Cos all I really want right now
Is to know you care for me
And if you really do
Why is it I can’t see
