For Subhadra Kumari Chauhan Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

For Subhadra Kumari Chauhan

The innocence of childhood
How to forget it
The sweet memories of the past?

How roamed and rambled I
Without care and worry,
Anxiety and fear freely?

A small girl was I,
A small daughter,
How loving and free?

But with a tinge of pain in my heart
Remember I,
Remember I that recollecting, reminiscing.

My childhood, childish days
When I had been,
Had been a small and loving girl affectionate to all.
