Forbidden Poem by Zayne Venilos

Forbidden

I cannot begin to fathom
of the grotesque torture you put me through
Just like an illusion or phantom
you just seem to steal my breath away

The poison apple; a forbidden allure
that so used to be in my grip
Forever gone from my palms
like sand slipping through my finger tips

An eye for an eye
and a heart for a heart
As I wrap my fingers around the ties
that so strongly held our hearts
