Forbidden Poem by Stella Halliwell

Forbidden

Failing me the words doth keep my lips
Cloaking all tenderness dwelling deep
Reverie claws from the realms of listless
Dearest wake me not from sleep
If my dreams are all I have
Bless thy tender heart my dearest
Let the sleeper, sleep
