Forbidden Fruit Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Forbidden Fruit

Rating: 4.3

electrifying sparks that dance across my skin
the flutter of unknown attaching to my heart
the wheels are turning and pulling tiny strings
that seem to keep me on my toes

a little bite, a little danger to keep the spice alive
a little mystery, a little chaos keeps running in my mind
whats up, whats down, I cant seem to find my way
and tho I fear what may come I cant seem to walk away

the stakes are high and fragile hearts shake
yet fear has never been a chain of mine
regardless if the unknown continues to mock me
I stay with hope hand in hand

Those eyes, that mouth, it all attracts me
a sin so luscious I cannot seem to pull away
yet reason speaks in tiny voices
and warns of what may come
should I continue on this path
of blood and chocolate love

Yet reason can have its filthy warnings
dismissed and shunned for defying my wants
my heart will crave what it desires
and I just cant help but indulge
