As here I await,
At the cemetery gate,
I'm humbled by those who care,
With my fate,
I now have a date,
Of a change I am fully aware.

As they walk,
I hear them talk,
With my presence they have a bond,
Though it's a shock,
My mind I unlock,
It's too early for me to respond.

He's free of pain,
No more strain,
He's off to a far better place,
I cannot explain,
This beautiful terrain,
What's next I now have to face.

As they lower me down,
In tears they drown,
They say their last goodbyes,
Lift that frown,
I've not left town,
It's only my shell that dies.

I remind them all,
You must stand tall,
Memories like the soul never pass,
I'll give you a call,
Be there when you fall,
The future will be first class.

Don't feel fear,
You'll know I'm still here,
From reality you must never hide,
When I reappear,
It will become clear,
