Four Doves Poem by Abdul Wahab

Four Doves

Four Doves

Bring him four beautiful doves
And let him pet them all before he puts their pieces
On the white cliffs of different mountains
Mountain will not move but the doves
The dead doves will rearrange their bones
And walk down to their feet with same feathers and skins
I will ask you but nothing like the same above
To prove that this poem is real and full of meanings
Rather you are asked to take our four lines
And before you understand them put them
On the dark head of different clouds
The clouds will not move but the lines
The unconnected lines will make a chain of thought
To show you that this is a poem
The poem on which you have never believed
Nor have you believed dead doves could be alive again
Before you watch my hand writing
Before you read my mind conceiving this wonderful piece.
