Fragilities (The Mind) Poem by Not Long Left

Fragilities (The Mind)

Rating: 5.0

And so it came:
The Landslide in my mind
A shifting of sanity
from the left to the right.
Left to struggle in the rubble
of broken thoughts.
The film flickered,
black became, before a horror began.
Walking through walls of others
conscionsous I devoloped a
little of them.
A trickling thought became
a swollen river, which burst
through the banks of reason.
Like a book caught in the wind
the pages of my life flashed by.
Chapters consumed themselves,
as words became blurs of
everlasting sight.
They all cried for me
I caught their tears
each droplet an emotional atomic bomb.
The pillows on my sodden bed began
to rise with each desperate sigh
and I only fell some more.
Like a puppet I was commanded
And the words I thought of wrote themselves.
