Fragmented Hopes Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Fragmented Hopes

Fragmented hopes
Precarious joys
Palpable fears
Life is destroyed

Earth quakes
And winds
Tornadoes
Death strings
Tsunamis
Of destruction
Volcano's
Ruination

Grappling with faith
None left
Of this trait
Prayers to the moon
With Dust storms
They escaped

Nobel Gold
it was gilded
My pearl
now outdated
This pearl
Of my heart
It's peace
Has been raided

I still
Will rise
To all your
Surprise
Last seed
Of my hope
no longer
Hides it's pride
