Fragments,129 [cxxix]-[variation] Poem by Fabrizio Frosini

Fragments,129 [cxxix]-[variation]

.

In vain your future waited
For you.
When you finally arrived,
It was already the
Past.

It makes me think about the link between the past and the future. It could be that the future was disappointing. I always think of Proust when reading about the past. M.Walker.

right, Michael, 'la recherche' is indeed in my poetry.. my memories are ''le temps perdu''.. even if I can't write about ''le temps retrouvé'': everything's been lost forever - and no future is worth living..
