Fragments,130 [cxxx] Poem by Fabrizio Frosini

Fragments,130 [cxxx]

You need to avoid all the mawkishness, those
Sweetish affectations that so often fill
Love poems — You told yourself

And that's why you didn't write any.

Yes, love poems can be excessive and artificial. I have written only a couple of love poems. M. Walker.

Hi Michael! Indeed, I've written a number of love poems - although not many, actually.. :)

I sometimes think Dante in one or two of his poems in La Vita Nuova might have been better to take your advice! Perhaps Love poems are better written at a distance and if we hit the wrong note at a very great distance! Love it, Fabrizio Tom billsborough
