Freed From Deceiving Misdeeds Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Freed From Deceiving Misdeeds

Ultimately.
We,
Representatives of humanity.
Will come to know what love is.
And the power of it.
Refusing to abuse it to delude.
With a choosing to forget,
A forgiveness to give.
Like so many these days,
Seem to have done to do.
Ultimately again,
Debating as fools.
Escalating into a baited hatred.
Shared together as if this is sacred.
Imitating faith in God to fake.
Only 'ultimately' to discover,
Those of evil souls...
Are not the ones saved.
From a doing to have created chaos!
Ultimately...
To know love and its power.
When the hour of destruction,
Threatens upon them to come.
Hoping to run,
Away from a 'stupidity' done.
Again on bended knees.
Praying to be released to cease,
An ignorance that has depleted...
Their kept false beliefs!

Ultimately...
Love to keep.
Freed from deceiving misdeeds.
Will rule over fools to defeat them.
