Freed From Prison Poem by gershon hepner

Freed From Prison

Rating: 3.5

The novel, mental basement, is defined
by differing rooms that make it democratic,
while poetry is always undermined
by autocratic thoughts within the attic,
but freed from prisons of the mind you’ll find
the secrets that in novels are not found,
and free association may be mined,
with poetry prehensile and profound.

I have to admire the rhyme in this piece - it's difficult to find decent rhyme these days. However, I spotted a few abstractions.
