I am slipping, losing grip, on the painful things in my life

I want to let it go but the balance will become unstable



I am slipping, losing grip, on the lovely, beautiful things in life

I do not want to lose them



But they are falling, falling



A sure, steady hand helps me to my feet

Another helps me lift my burden

Yet another leads me to realize how important

These lovely, beautiful things are

And helps me get me through

Those painful things I am gripping, slipping, falling



Though not carrying alone

Because friends are with you



Always

And

Forever



Friends do not

Desert

You



You will not

Crash

Or fall

With a friend

By your side



Sometimes I wondered,

If my friends

Would let me

Fall

That friends

Through hard times

Friends follow through
