FRIENDSHIP

Friendship is what I value the most
A friend is someone who remains steadfast
In our times of joy or sorrow
In the hour of need

Good friend chides us at our follies
Corrects us if we err
A true friend is like a shadow
We keep him abreast of all are plans

To whom we can confide our woes
And share our happiness
We find solace and strength
If we have a good friend with us

As the old adage goes
A friend in need is a friend indeed

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
