From My Distress God Set Me Free

Rating: 5.0

Have you noticed how Distress rhymes with Stress?
Both disrupt our peace and bring such heaviness,
That our life seems to turn inside out, upside down,
We get so tired and weary, we just want to be alone.

Even sleep seems hard to catch as our mind wanders.
The hours tick away and dawn comes quite earlier.
There seems no escape from the torture of Distress,
It torments the soul, life ends up joyless.

But Distress is the pivotal moment we may turn
To the Maker of us all, and to Him we return.
The Creator Who can heal us and fix our mess,
Who alone can set us free from this cage of Distress.

Distress rhymes with Stress. Distress provokes thought and amazes mind. But there is no need to be worried. We should keep trust on God. Due to his blessings distress does not last for long time. This is an excellent poem shared.10
