From Stranger Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

From Stranger

From stranger

I offered glass of water
To a patient with kind offer
He looked straight into eyes
As if new energy flown in wings

I have observed often
People expect no heave
But good treatment to human being
When they are dying or on death bed

In Indian culture
The parents look for future
An old age is bothering them to much
As children are not proving to expectations as such

It is unbelievable gesture
From stranger
Patient looks with gratitude
He is puzzled what to say about this attitude

It brings new hope
Even if their own keens have flopped
Not shown little care
So they look at sky and stare

From Stranger
