From The Clouds Poem by Sheldon Moore

From The Clouds

Oh thousands of voices
Singing the same song

Softly

And thousands of rhythms
Pulsing through the air

Pummeling

Sending me to deep slumber
To dream dreams of dreams

Lucid

Cool damp air pours
Like strands of silk

Sensuous

Pulling me, taking me
To another place, realm

Warmth

Over mountains, canyons
Raging rivers, dells

Floating

On a soft linen craft
It’s taking me away

Free
