Front Row At The Concert Poem by Elizabeth Sheaffer

Front Row At The Concert

Rating: 5.0

Here at the show
I'm in the front row
The band starts to play
Been waiting all day
The opening chord
My parents abhored
I scream with the crowd
The music sounds, loud
The bass beats in my chest
Some of the best
I rock to the beat
No need for a seat
I feel so alive
Being drenched in the lead singer's saliva.

Wonderful, I can relate to this poem, I had the opportunity to attend a concert of a very famous group. I was up close and rocking to the beat, believe me I never missed a beat. It was the days of the thrown undies and hankies, I really had to leave because of all the nasty's the women were throwing around. Also it wasn't very pleasant walking over fainted bodies. Excellent poem--Melvina--
