Frost Poem by Johanna Boal

Frost

I’m in awe by you being there
Stepping out at my front door
Your iciness, coldness,
Produces white, glittery
Cool like substance
That sticks to-
Grass, leaves and makes
Puddles interesting!
You reflect on the moon
Then bounce on the stars.
In the forest, hillsides, caves,
Snails, spiders, owls, bats,
In wonderment too
Viewing from their garden walls.
You capture a magic
So ancient in frozen appearance,
You are a moment of time stood still.
