Hold out your hand and open your eyes
I will give you my love and give you the sky
Sometimes you're sad and a little bit blue
but all that I see, is perfect in you

I am not good, God knows its true
I stumble and struggle everyday too
I know you have fallen and have seen a lot of pain
yet In your darkest hour you are perfect again

Perfection is not beauty
Not talent nor fame
Perfect is you in every way
Perfect is you in my everyday

Nothing is more beautiful than waking
to see, you smile and to hear you say
that you love me and need me as much as you do
Because above all things... I need you too

The way that you talk with your hands
Your nervous tics and your crazy plans
You follow your dreams,
even if it kills you
They keep you going
creative and growing
You are life to me, you are how I breathe
Hard to love
But oh so sweet
God help me to keep up, to be loved
To be perfect to you
even in the things I fail to do
Please see that you will always be
never less that perfect to me
