Gas Prices Poem by Randy McClave

Gas Prices

Gas prices are sky high
And people are screaming that they know why,
They always begin or end their high gas price argument
By, always blaming it all on the U.S President.
But, they forget or they don't or won't notice at all all,
Gas prices are high in any country that you might visit or call.

The U.S President doesn't regulate the price of food
Or the ticket prices of movies that you have viewed,
Or of the stuff that I or you might buy or sale
Not even the price of stamps on the packages that we mail.
Most of all the president is an arbitrator,
He is not an absolute ruler or a dictator.

OPEC and oil companies control all of our oil prices
By demand and need is their pricing devices,
And remember also that Russia with Ukraine is at war
So, of course oil prices are going to soar.
And before you scream or cry out about the keystone pipeline,
That was Canadian oil sand not for the U.S so don't you whine.

Remember this when you go to any gas station
Gas prices are high in every single nation,
And before you whine and cry and also falsely blame
Upon you I say this, I say shame.
When about high gas prices you are bitching and crying,
Remember this, the people in Ukraine are suffering and dying.
