Glad To Have You

In life one meets a lot of people
Some are meant to stay, others aren’t
Some are meant to teach you, others to entertain you
Some are meant to love you, others to nurture you
These people will determine the course of your life
For everyone needs people around
Both good & bad to toughen you up
I am glad I have you in my corner
To turn to and to count on
Whenever I need to
For the world can be a mean place
So a smile and encouragement cannot go amiss
Thank you for giving me that smile that I need, always 

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

It is the hour when from the boughs
The nightingale's high note is heard;
It is the hour -- when lover's vows
Seem sweet in every whisper'd word;
