God May Smile Wipe Our Brows Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

God May Smile Wipe Our Brows

Rating: 5.0

what wonder daily waits in minstrel minds
singing melodies embracing universal laws
wonder abounds in scop shaper maker lines
even when stricken laid low in pale illnesses

boredom time imprisoned greets laymen lives
when spectre disease flu unmans active duties
still room cell time stops stock enclosed walls
time masters stakes immobile feet fleet dancers

but poet shorn of strength still mind key masters
inner eye swift fever flies omnipresent melodies
flood waking dreams with illumination thoughts
hours pass in orb vision causality synchronizes
favour felt in harmonic divine memories touches
in spit fitful sleep God may smile wipe our brows
