It was an average Sunday morning
And right after church I went
To the park for a little walk
To enjoy what God had sent
It was springtime and the flowers
Were blooming bright and sweet
I felt my soul had lifted high
This park had incredible treats
The birds chirped happily in the trees
Honey bees buzzed in glee
Butterflies flitted slowly by
Oh, what treasures God had for me
The fragrance of the flowers were
Strong scents that filled the park
Shapes and colors brilliant
I could stay from morn till dark
If you feel life getting you down
You need a little pleasure
Go outside with nature, my friend
And Enjoy God’s simple treasures!
