Gone Poem by Sanele Mthethwa

Gone

The weekend came and it took you away, full of sorrows cause I'll never see you again. I won't tell you any more stories, I'll never get a chance to say that 'I'm sorry' - of course... I'll never hear sound of your voice or that loud irritating laugh of yours. The rain tried to wash my pain. But in plain you're in a better place, so I hope you find peace and you already have wings, cause every angel, belongs in heaven, you were fine, who could deny, Smiling Made You Glow but now you are gone and it is hard to accept....You may be gone but you will never be forgotten, I wish a tear would bring you back, because I'd love to see your face... just one more time.
