I love how you say good morning to me
You say it like you're addressing a tree
Darling, you don't personalize anything
Meanwhile, I come out with all my charms
With my verses, poems, songs and alarms
You say it because you want to say something
To me, like I am a sick and desperate lover
Unfortunately, you don't comprehend my humor
For your information, I am a fun and serious guy
That's okay, I am not sad and I am not going to cry
But I will not stop or cease using terms of endearment
To serenade, charm, shower and powder you with love
Good morning to you too, my love. The spirit above
Is watching and laughing. Help me laugh and lament.
