Goodbye Mr. Toby Poem by Tohru Frost

Goodbye Mr. Toby

Something I see change me,
Sometimes I don’t see,
This time I did,
Tears shed.
I’ve known him as long have I have known her,
His adored face and gentle purr,
Paws soft yet strong,
Eyes soothing and tail so long,
One cat u can’t replace,
Now gone without a trace.
Watching them say good bye,
They didn’t cry,
Why did I?
Even if he was my best friends,
I cried again.
The saddest thing I’ve ever seen,
Was that farewell…
Even if I’m just a teen,
I do believe in heaven and hell,
And heaven is where he will go.
Mr. Toby,
Can you see me?
Watch over her,
And continue your loud purr,
We will miss you,
And don't forget to eat lots of treats too.
~Dedicated to My Best Friend Megan~

yep, this really happened. He was my cat, and I did cry a lot. Thank you for writing this, I really love it!
