Gray Evenings Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Gray Evenings

Wishing upon future stars, looking down upon me,
as I watch them twinkling in outer space, holding
on to their beauty as I fall asleep.
Keeping thoughts of them closely encased in my
dreams, along with their memories.
Beautiful to recall on lonely, gray evenings
spent in silent growing sorrow.
