The Queen Of Dreamland Poem by Jarrod Plantagenet

The Queen Of Dreamland

She was just
Floating through life
On a sea
Of idealistic dreams
Like human flotsom
Caught up in
The current of society

My sleepyhead
Will lay in bed
And rest the whole
Day away
Off to mister
Sandman's Dreamland
Paint her 14 shades of grey

After a kiss
She asks me this
Exactly why's reality
Seem to be
More real to me
When I'm asleep
Within a dream

Starry skies of
Flicker lights in
Darkest nights
Closed eyes
And open mind
Lucidly
Asleep she lies

The Queen Of Dreamland
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
