Don’t tell me you love me if you don’t.
Don’t say we’ll be together forever if you think we won’t.
Don’t speak to me when you know I’m not listening.
Don’t say we’re complete if you feel inside something is missing.
Love me in a way that is respectful and strong.
Don’t be paranoid or jealous; I will do you no wrong.
Take my love if you need it, or leave it.
Don’t be greedy; don’t share my love out or deceive it.
Be true to me and to yourself; that is all I ask.
You will be one half of me, and I your other half.
Be sensible and do the right thing if our love comes untied.
Be gracious if one day it turns out we have to say goodbye.
