Haiku - the old school bell

old brass bell
heavy the thought
of school years

old brass bell
echoing still
the school years

old brass bell
so cold our memory
has grown

old brass bell
heavy my thoughts
this evening

old brass bell
heavy my thoughts
of the school years

the old brass bell
solid and clear
school memories

old brass bell
reverberating still
the school years

old brass bell
this evening school memory
cold and still

And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
