When I ranted on,
Accepted me as me,
So thank you,

She gave me advice,
Real stuff that helped,
No lucky roll of the dice,

She kept what I said,
To herself, didn't stir,

Even when someone had a go,
She defended me,
A true friend I know,
So thank you,

I think of you as a friend,
And whenever you need it,
I'll have a hand to lend,
