Half A World Poem by Kevin Eaglesfield

Half A World

When you're half a world away,
And half a half a day behind,
When I'm looking through our box
With bloodshot eyes,
Tallying another day,
The waves that beat me black and blue
Are the butterfly wings
That you smile at in your sleep
While we dream of each other.
