Half Close Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Half Close

Half open

So far barren and deserted
It has now inserted
New chapter of love
Which I had never believed

His eyes drawn me
To feel free
At new invitation
It was beginning of new relation

What was magic in it?
I openly greeted
With so much of love and affection
I felt warmth in relation

It was as if two souls waited
To meet at appropriate time and created
Special place for union
He was real choice for me as companion

Still I will do nothing in haste
But relate with
Happy encounters
And offer later

It has brought blossom
I feel it in room
Even though the door is closed
Eyes watch it despite being half opened
