Abdul Wahab

Half Of A Loaf - Poem by Abdul Wahab

My son cherubic cherry like
Sat beside me and ate leeches
Suddenly he pointed out and said
His mom took away and ate up my loaf, half
In my heart I silently uttered
Long ago she made a full loaf
Taking half of me and half from her

Poet's Notes about The Poem

if one half of your bread is eaten by your love one is nothing wrong with it rather that thing is done out of love...the poem is nothing confusing....
